Account and profile data
Your profile is private by default. It can hold your name, username, and optional details such as height, weight, and year of birth. Only you can see your own profile.
Signing in
We use email and password authentication to identify you. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Boards, sessions, and photographs
When these features launch, the boards you add, the sessions you record, and any photographs you upload will remain private to your account. [To be completed]
Weather and forecast data
A later version will fetch surf conditions from Open-Meteo. No personal data is sent to that provider. [To be completed]
Error monitoring
We use Sentry to catch application errors. Before anything is sent, we strip error messages, request data, and account details, keeping only the error type and the code location — so diary text and other free-text content never reach Sentry.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account and personal data from your profile. [To be completed]
